Silent Night, Holy Night

Yessiree ... that's the song I kept humming
while creating these little beauties.
I mean, how could you not?

I wish you could see these in person.
They are so much more elegant
than what you see here.
I kept trying to get better shots,
but the lighting just wasn't working with me.

This first batch just might be my favorite.
I love the teeny-tiny little hearts
around the one little lady's neck.
Oh - and how about those hearts on the hem
of the other one?
Difficult to see here,
but there's a little dove on the last one's shoulder.

Ashley actually gasped when she saw
the angel with the blue flower.
And how about the rose design?

Again, I wish you could see these in person.
The glitter, the shine, the glow ...
just beautiful.
They are going to look so nice on somebody's tree.

Must have some gold angels, too!
My preference is the one with the stripes.

The green flower against the softness of the white glitter
is beautiful.
The other one might not be glittered,
but the circles are awesome.

Silent night ...

Ashley took possession today!!

I've been so excited to deliver these reindeer
and this afternoon was the day.

As you can see,
some are Rudolph and some are not.

She loved the glitter'd ones.
My faves are the crinkled.

Tomorrow I'll be sharing
the angel ornaments.
I think you'll love them!

Kathy Celebrates

Krista's mom, Kathy, celebrates today.
I don't know about her,
but I'd love a basket of flowers just like these.

Enjoy your day.
Fill it with cake, wishes and a few flowers.

Retirement. Or????????????

Butterflies always land on my sympathy cards.
And I like to put clocks on my retirement cards.
These two are no exception.

To me, a clock means this:
No more alarms you have to set to go to work.
No more 'clock-watching' when you want to go home.

For a woman.
Perhaps she's leaving her office job
and typewriter behind.

And for a man.
Perhaps he no longer needs to wear a suit every day.
Certainly, no more alarm clocks for him.

But let's go in an entirely different direction.
Birthday?
Thinking of You?
Missing You?

Autumn Leaves

Everybody should be spoiled on their birthday.
I'm sure Barb will be!

Just hope she won't be spending her day
raking leaves!

Happy birthday, Barb.

My Grandson Proposed!

He took his girlfriend on vacation to Nashville.
Before they even had their first meal,
he got down on his knee and proposed.

She had no idea and was completely surprised.
Of course, she said "YES!"

An hour later, he called to tell me.
He sounded so happy!
We both had a few tears as we talked.

No idea when the wedding will be.
I think she's getting over the shock of the proposal.

Yes, I had to create an engagement card.
Wouldn't you?

Congratulations KT and Andy!
