SOFT COLORS AND WARM WISHES

I don't know about you,
but I would LOVE this box of flowers.

I'm hoping Lidia enjoys it, too.
I'm sure her husband will send his warm wishes
inside the card as well.

Happy birthday, all year long!

WE'RE ALL WAITING FOR POTTED PLANTS

We're into "Springtime" so we deserve this!
And so does Pat - especially on her birthday.
Hoping nice weather greets her this morning
as she steps outside.

Celebrate big and enjoy all the festivities
held in your honor.
Sparkle on, Pat!

I THINK HE CELEBRATED ON A CRUISE SHIP

But there's absolutely no reason why he can't
keep on celebrating.
Especially today, on his actual birthday.

Just wondering if, on dress-up night on the ship
he showed up like this, all dapper and handsome!?!

SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO THROW A SYMPATHY CARD IN

Sad as it is, it happens.
It happens to all of us when we lose a loved one.

Gina lost her mom
and I was asked to create a card for her.

I'm hoping it's a bright spot in her day.

IF HE HAD WAITED JUST A COUPLE MORE DAYS

… then he would have been born
on his mamma's birthday!

I'm talking about EJ (you saw his card a couple of days ago)
and his mamma, Andrea.

Who wouldn't want a bouquet like this
for a birthday?
Or for any day?

Happy, happy birthday Andrea!

GET YOUR MIND OUTTA THE GUTTER

I don't especially get it - motorcycle riding, that is.
But my son sure loves it.

The verbiage isn't what I typically post,
but it went on his birthday card
and I know he'll enjoy it.

Especially like the "patterned paper"
the image sits on.
It's cigar bands that he sent me years ago.
I knew one day I'd find a use for them!
Interesting that both his first name and middle name
is on two of the bands.

Happy birthday, Donald.
Enjoy this birthday all year long!

FIXATION

Pretty sure all three-year old boys
are fixated on Spiderman.
I know one little boy that is
so this should make him happy.

Happy birthday, EJ.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME CARNIVAL TIME?

Gosh, I sure am!
Except definitely not the ferris wheels!
I'm thinking more along the lines
of all the junk food.  LOL!

My friend works at the carnival
and she loves sending cards just like this.
Doesn't matter - male or female.
Every one of them work for either sex.

They're already out on the road for the season.
Enjoy!

They sure make me happy.
How about you?

EVERYTHING DOESN'T ALWAYS GO AS PLANNED

Oh boy - and can I attest to that!
My very good friend had a birthday in February.
The intention was there.
I even had on my spreadsheet to send a card.
Except I had her listed in March instead of February.

I did remember to call her that day.
And I apologized profusely for forgetting to send a card.
She was way too forgiving!!!

Somehow, days slipped by before I made a card.
Finished it, addressed the envelope,
added a stamp, wrote my apologies and sentiments
inside the card and mailed it off.

A couple of days later,
lo and behold, but the card came back
for insufficient postage.
GOOD GRIEF.
She wasn't meant to get a card this year, I was convinced.

Took me a day or so to re-envelope and stamp it
and get it to her.
It was about a month late!

And then it took me a few more weeks before
I got this blog post out.

Saw this unknown girl
and it just took me right back to "our era"
and knew she could relate to the hairstyle and glasses.
And she did!

Happy belated birthday, Carol!

ONE FOR THE STASH

… because you just never know when you might need
to send one to a special friend.

Works for me!

Best part is that it can be sent for any occasion:
thinking of you
get well soon
happy birthday
have a good day
deepest sympathy
thank you
and the list goes on.
