REALISTIC?

I think the image is spectacular

but I think the flower is even more spectacular.

How does it happen

that I find a flower that's nearly the same

as the one on the image?

Well, this card was for a friend's sister-in-law.

But my friend's mom was in the hospital

and she was involved in helping plan

her son's wedding at the same time.

Can you say going in two directions at the same time?

Time didn't permit pick-up.

What matters is the birthday greeting inside.

ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS DAY

I applaud the person that invented this day!

I know lots of bosses that would be failures

if they didn't have their admins.

So kudos to the inventor of this day!

The theme this year is the typewriter.

I know those machines are a thing of the past

but oh how cool they look on the table/desk.

For all the female admins ...

 

 

And for the male admins ... 

Back in the day,

I worked for some great bosses.

On this day,

I was celebrated with cards, flowers,

gift cards and best of all ...

the day off, with pay,

and the entire day at the spa.

DAY LATE? NOPE!

He gave Tracy her card two days early.
When asked why, he said,
"It's her birthday week.  Gotta have something every day."
What a guy!

Today is the last day of this "birthday week"

so I am posting her card today.

Sadly, I had to create one more.

My friend lost her mother a few weeks ago.

I wasn't able to go to the viewing

but did go to the service and it was beautiful.

The gentleman that talked about Wanda's life

was so uplifting and spot-on.

Once again, Sandi, my deepest sympathy.
