As the saying goes ...

"April showers bring May flowers."

I hope your flowers are beautiful

and put a smile on your face.

I know these put a smile on Betty's face

the other day.

She celebrated a birthday on Easter Sunday

and I just had to create something for her.

Found a frame I no longer was using,

lined it with a piece of old wallpaper

and then went to town with some May flowers.

The red ones were made with felt

and then I sprayed some Stiffen Stuff

on them until I got it just right.

The white flower was made from tissue paper

and then I kissed the petals with ink.

The stems were pulled from a downed branch

and glued onto the wallpaper.

Betty displays this on an easel in her foyer.

The vase behind the frame has red flowers in it

and the framed mirror on the wall is gold.

Pretty good, for never being in her home.
