Today is Doctor's Day

I have the best gynecologist in the world!

Doctor Angela Cope is the sweetest person
and I had to honor her today.

Dropped off a card this morning.

I've recommended her to two friends
and they like her, too.

My regret is that she didn't deliver my babies.
(She was probably just a baby herself at that time!)

I {heart} her!!!!!!!!!!

Easter Greetings

What's your preference?
Peeps, malted eggs, chocolate bunnies or jelly beans?
My favorite is was the malted eggs.
Oh my - I could devour a whole bag!
Enough candy-talk.
Let's get down to the cards.
This one just has to be my favorite.
Just something about that sweet, sweet face.
To me, a lily that says "Easter" like none other.
I love creating different cards with one image.
The end result is so completely different.
Tell me which card is your favorite of these two.

What a precious little chickie wearing that crown.

Vintage images that make me smile.
And remember.

A bunny and a lily.
Perfect to celebrate the Easter Joys.

This card reminds me of a seed packet.

Bunnies do love to eat the flowers, don't they?
Guess it's their idea of an Easter treat.

Easter joy!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Reflections

A Happy Easter
The face?  Irresistible.

I hope your day was exactly how you wanted it to be.
Now go eat a chocolate bunny!

Happy birthday, sweet Jean!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a while, hasn't it?

I'm not a slacker.  I've been creating cards left and right.
If you've been following me on Facebook,
then you've already read about our computer horror stories.
It's been bad.
Really bad.

Fortunately, I scheduled a few posts
so you did get to see some cards.

I've been making cards - truly.
One for just about every occasion.

How bout we start off with two retirement cards?
This one is for Pete.
Thank you for your service in the US Navy!

Vicki won't have to set any alarm clocks
unless she wants to.
She retired a few weeks ago.
Several birthdays in February and March.

And, of course, we cannot forget about St. Patrick's Day.

And two of my favorite people
celebrated their anniversary.

That just about wraps it up for now.
There's several more that I can't share just yet.
Please come back!!!

My friend celebrates

I could not resist this beautiful image
for her card.

She is such a classy Southern lady and this fits her to a "T"
and she wears a lot of these colors.
I think she'll like it!

Happy, happy birthday, Bobbie.

White Car Grey Car

For the life of me,
I cannot remember.
Did it start out as a white car
or a grey car?

I'm quite sure white.
And then it was loved so much,
the white peeled off, leaving part of the primer showing.

My son loved his Hot Wheel cars.
But this particular one was his favorite!!!!!

If he was separated from it, he would cry "white car."
(Or was it "grey car?")
Either way, you get the idea.

It was like his security blanket.
It went everywhere with him.
And God forbid if it was left behind.
I vividly remember driving back to my parents' home to retrieve it ... late at night.

When I saw this image, I knew it was absolutely perfect
for his birthday card.

Happy birthday, my son!

Another anniversary

I was asked to create a card
large enough for 11 people to sign.

We came up with this concept:
one page for each person.
With a couple extras for extra sentiments.

Several of the pages will be signed by very young children.
Since we all know how large their printing/drawings can be,
I've left lots of room on some of the pages.

I know these pages will be filled with loving messages.

Because the cover is so thick,
I removed the flap on the envelope
and only the last page of the card slips inside.
