26 Years

Where in the world has 26 years gone?

It seems like just yesterday
that my son and daughter-in-law
said "I do!"
And it was yesterday that they celebrated
those 26 years.
Happy Anniversary, you two.
Keep on honeymooning.

Administrative Professionals Day

Yes, there is such a day!
And it is today.

Used to be called Secretary's Day.
A day when bosses recognized
those (typically) female workers
that kept them afloat.

I'm glad they changed the name!
And I'm also glad that
Administrative Professionals are still being recognized.

Just a little behind ...

These cards have been sitting
in my Photo Gallery for ages.
Shame on me!

First up is a thank you card.
Sent this to a new friend
for something special she did for me.

And another thank you card.
Nance thought of me in the nicest way.
She gave me a large box of papers
her employer was going to throw away.
If you know me, you know I'll put every scrap to good use.
Come to find out,
this dog is just like her sister's dog.
The one Nance dog-sits for when the family is out-of-town.

Lydia celebrated a birthday
... last month.
Told you I'm a little behind.

Don't like making these.
Don't like the reason for making these.
But I like the way it makes recipients feel.
Deepest sympathy DJ and Darlene.

Next time, I hope to be on time.

Today she celebrates

Peggy, that is!
It's the big *85* birthday.

God willing, I'll see her tonight at the graduation
and can give my birthday wishes in person.

I think this is a perfect image
for a Springtime birthday, don't you?

Happy birthday, Peggy.

My Daughter's Friend

... is celebrating her birthday today.
If you know Ewa, please wish her a wonderful day.
Enjoy all the festivities held in your honor.

She loves animals so I thought this image was perfect.
Oh, and how darling is that little girl's hat!?!

My sweet, sweet friend celebrates today.

Betty O.
She's the best of the best.

If you know her, please reach out
and wish her a 'happy birthday' today.

I'll be dropping this card off later on.

I don't know about you, but I sure could go for a slice of this!
Happy birthday, Betty!

Birthday Time

Yesterday was a happy day for Marcelle.
She celebrated!

Her brother asked for a card
with a "religious flair" ...
think this works?

Happy Birthday, Marcelle!
Keep celebrating all month long.

My friend is celebrating a birthday today!

I'm so happy she's scoring one more.
I know every day is not a bed of roses,
but for the most part, she's swimming in roses.

Speaking of flowers,
the only thing she might love even more
would be books.
Maybe it's even a tie.
In that case, she gets both.

Happy birthday, Kay!

My Friends Are The Best

Such a wonderful way to celebrate
the first day of Spring.

In the mail was the sweetest
handmade heart
along with a gift card to Panera Bread
(for when I'm not feeling like cooking!)

If you know Linda,
you know she's a BOHO kinda girl.
What better way to recognize her love
than with this card?

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
my sweet friend.
You ROCK!

Happy Easter

True story:

Not exactly sure how old he was,
perhaps two or three.
(And this was many, many years ago!)

My daughter-in-law wanted my grandson
to tell me about their trip to the mall.

You know how little ones are.
If they can't see you, then you can't see them.
Translation:
He turned his back on his mom.

She was persistent and kept saying,
"Tell Gramma what you did when you saw the Easter Bunny.
Tell Gramma what you did when you saw the Easter Bunny."
Numerous times.

He finally threw up his hands and said,
"Scream and cry,
scream and cry,
scream and cry."

That's what he did when they took him
to see the Easter Bunny.

Not an Easter goes by that I don't think of this story.

Okay, now time to share some Easter cards.

See, Andy ... the Easter Bunny isn't scary!

However you spend your day, enjoy!
